Women of colour deserve rest; we deserve softness without being deposed of our strength. To find solace in the home without added labour and a love which does not make us suffer or work to earn it. In rest lies healing, ideas, strength, and compassion for self. In rest we can dream, listen, comune. In rest lies Divinity.
